Lake Tahoe Luxury Travel Guide
Welcome to Lake Tahoe, where magic happens and peace abounds. Let me show you around my safe haven, my own version of paradise, my hometown.
Nestled on the California-Nevada border in the northern Sierra’s, Lake Tahoe boasts deep blue alpine waters, pine-covered mountains, delicious and mouth-watering cuisines, and a peaceful magical environment that you only thought existed in your wildest dreams.
This is my hometown. I grew up on the Nevada side of the lake in Zephyr Cove. As a kid in Tahoe, we swam in the lake in summer and skied in the winter. I would roam the woods in the summer and find trails that would lead up the mountain or take you down to the lake. Let me show you around.
About Lake Tahoe
A huge lake occupying a fault basin on the California-Nevada border in the northern Sierra Nevada, Lake Tahoe is considered to be one of the most majestic alpine lakes in the world. It’s fed by 63 streams created by the annual snowpack from both the California and Nevada sides of the lake. The lake is located at 6,223 feet, where the water is cool and crystal clear.
The lake has a magical effect. The deep blue alpine water surrounded by mountains simply exudes peace. A person leaving this place somehow always has renewed energy, a positive outlook in life, and a more vibrant energy. That is how wonderful this place is, and every single person who has visited Lake Tahoe can attest to this. I am one of those people.
